Christmas Day

Christmas is finally here! The kids are waiting anxiously to see what Santa brought!
Sariah shows off her bounty!
Santa decides that Katie John must be old enough for a pogo stick, despite the recent injury her Aunt Julie suffered by pogo sticking on wet leaves on cement. Katie John is very excited to try it out!
Jonah and star wars legos go hand in hand. I sure hope he comes out of his room long enough to eat some scones!
Keira pleaded with Santa for a pillow pet, apparently her wish was granted! I think I listened to pleas for a pillow pet for about two and a half months! Thank You Santa! One of our "new" Christmas traditions is cereal boxes in the stocking. Santa picks a fun flavor for each kid and they get to eat a bowl of fun cereal for Christmas breakfast, you know, before the scones!
Scones are a tradition we indulged in every Christmas we went to Arizona. It seemed only fitting that we continue it (with pleasure)!
One of the big surprises of the day was a new Wii! Grammy and Grandpa sent down a super cool red Wii. The kids were so excited they actually jumped for joy, especially Jonah. It wasn't too long before it was all set up and being enjoyed by all. I think the most played game was bowling. What a fantastic Christmas!

Of course Christmas is not all about gifts, so we would be remiss to not be thankful for our wonderful family who we miss when they live far and enjoy when they are close. We are also thankful for all the relationships we have been blessed with!
